Firefighter John Fillman joined D2FD 12/29/77 after moving to Stuart from New Jersey. While a member, he attended a Defensive Driving course, EMT school and a Firefighting Tactics class at Valencia Community College in Orlando. He was employed by Niesner's.
Prior to living in Stuart, he was a member of the Sicklerville Vol. Fire Company #1 in Sicklerville, New Jersey under Chief James Mazza.
John was suspended on 1/4/79 for failing to report directly to the station for a call and for failing to comply with traffic regulation in his private vehicle.
It is believed that John returned to New Jersey.
