Acitivities / Details
December The 10th. Annual Awards Dinner was held on 12/13/86.
One member completed a 50 hour radiological class.
Four members enrolled in EMT class.
One member completed State EMT test.
January Three members attended a Chlorine Class and hands-on training program.
February The D2FD participated in the Mothers Against Drunk Driving Seminar.
March Three members attended a 40-hour radiological class.
Two members attended an 8-hour Radiological class.
D2FD hosted a County-Wide fire service chlorine class at M.C. Utilities.
Additional paid firefighter system added during working hours.
D2FD aided in the March of Dimes Walk-A-Thon.
The D2FD fund drive was completed with over $16,000 in donations.
May One member attended a Blueprint and Building Construction class.
June One member completed the state Paramedic test in Orlando.
D2FD hosted a First Aid for Baby Sitters class at the fairgrounds.
One member completed the State EMT test.
D2FD hosted a County Radiological Drill and Class.
July Added a Paid Lieutenant/Shift Commander rank.
Two members passed the State EMT test.
August Two firefighters issued a citation by the Martin County Commission for their life saving actions at a structural fire.
Five members passed the State Fire Recruit class and test.
September One member passed the State Paramedic exam.
Two members enrolled in EMT class.
One member passed an Officer Leadership class.
One member passed a Search and Rescue class.
October The D2FD hosted a 3-County-Wide Safety Systems Railroad Hazardous Materials class.
The 2 firefighter 24 hour shifts system started at D2FD.
Fire Prevention activities held at local Day Cares and Grumman.
Home Safety demonstration completed for T.V. X-34.
November D2FD placed a new Brush Truck into service.
One member completed a ACLS class.
Two members completed an EMT Refresher program.
